ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving the ClearSkies SaaS TDIR Platform and Managed Services sales process by providing technical expertise and solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with the sales, product, and engineering teams to understand customer requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and support to the sales team.
  • Understand and articulate the technical aspects of our ClearSkies SaaS TDIR Platform and Managed Services to prospective clients.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept to showcase product and services capabilities.

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with clients to identify their business needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Create detailed technical proposals and solution architectures that align with client requirements.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Address client inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Serve as a technical advisor during the sales process, from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with product management to provide feedback on client needs and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Training and Development:

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in similar technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on product features and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior pre-sales engineers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
KNOWLEGDE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, preferably within the Information Security/Risk Management industry and/or Managed Services.
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting complex sales cycles and delivering technical solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients across various industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in SaaS technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and data integration principles.
  • Experience with the use of CRM/ERP systems is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales activities.

Certifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) ) are highly desirable.
