Odyssey proudly announces that it has been recertified as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) for the 5th consecutive year.

First certified in 2013, Odyssey is now one of only 100 companies worldwide with the ability to conduct Vulnerability Scans within organizations wishing to comply with the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) regulatory framework.

“Having been extraordinarily successful in the PCI ASV recertification, as well as being a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) since May 2012, Odyssey is part of a select few companies globally with the ability to certify compliance with the PCI DSS”.

The PCI DSS is a regulatory framework which applies to all organizations, regardless of size or number of transactions, that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information. This includes entities such as merchants, service providers, payment gateways, data centers and outsourced service providers. The Standard has been developed by the PCI SSC, which was founded by five world debit and/or credit card organizations (American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International) to support card holders’ data security through a broad promotion and adoption of the PCI DSS.

It is worth noting that all ASV accreditations are subject to annual re-audit to ensure continuous compliance with the demands of the program.
