Odyssey participated as a Platinum Partner at the IDC IT Security Roadshow, which took place in Athens, on the 25th of May.
Taking into consideration the digital transformation era we are living in, this year’s event examined global and regional trends relating to IT Security and provided actionable advice and best practices for organizations. The impact of 3rd-Platform technologies (such as mobility, cloud, Big Data, and social business) on IT Security, both as an enabler of innovative solutions but also as a source of new risks, was the most notable area of focus.
Odyssey’s dynamic presence was unveiled by delivering two presentations titled “How to Respond to New and Unknown Threats with CheckPoint’s SandBlast” and “From Hackers to Cyber-Criminals / The Need for a Real Security Partner/Consultant”. The latter, which was an Odyssey’s client testimonial presentation, was of great interest since it demonstrated the integration experience of a shipping organization with Odyssey’s solutions.
The event was open to the public. Participants comprised of industry experts, thought leaders, C-level decision makers and key private-sector and government stakeholders. Visitors who came across Odyssey’s stand had the opportunity to share their concerns on information security issues with the company’s experts and learn about the innovative solutions and cybersecurity Services that Odyssey has developed and offers.
