ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and support the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity services for our customers. The role focuses on the design, implementation, maintaining and support of cybersecurity/network technologies across managed customer environments. You will work with internal teams, vendors, and customers to help ensure that security solutions are reliable, properly maintained, and aligned with operational and security requirements.
This position is suitable for someone with a solid technical foundation, a strong interest in network security.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, and cloud networking solutions).
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues.
- Implement network security measures, access controls, and firewall policies.
- Perform network upgrades, maintenance, backups, and disaster-recovery testing.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to improve network reliability and scalability.
KNOWLEGDE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Master’s degree in an IT related field will be considered an advantage
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, or technical support.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and network security principles.
- Hands on experience with enterprise networking technologies, Next Generation Firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
- Familiarity with network technologies (ex. Cisco, HPE, Huawei, Checkpoint, Fortinet etc)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
The following certifications will be considered an advantage:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Networking fundamentals
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+.
- Fortinet certifications
- Any other technical certifications will be considered as an advantage
