As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will support the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity services across customer environments. You will be responsible for the deployment, administration, monitoring, and ongoing support of security technologies, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure solutions remain effective, resilient, and aligned with operational and security requirements. Leveraging a strong technical foundation, you will contribute to the management and enhancement of key security domains, including firewalling, endpoint security, patch management and network segmentation.
The position reports to the Team Leader of Solutions (CY) and requires a professional with an ability to work in a dynamic environment as part of a team of highly focused engineers.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain core infrastructure and security systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to security systems, connectivity, access, and policies.
- Respond to customer requests, alerts, and support cases with guidance from senior team members
- Assist with the deployment and administration of security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, email security, and related platforms.
- Collaborate with other teams to support service delivery and operational excellence
- Contribute to internal process improvements and ensure compliance with security standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Master’s degree in an IT related field will be considered an advantage
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, or technical support.
- Strong understanding of firewalling, networking fundamentals, and security controls
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
- Familiarity with firewalling, endpoint security, patching, vulnerability management, or access management.
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies such as Check Point, Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
The following will be considered an advantage, but are not mandatory:
- Experience with incident, change, or configuration management processes.
- Basic experience with troubleshooting network or security issues.
- Experience working in customer environments or managed services.
- The following certifications will be considered an advantage:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Networking fundamentals
- Check Point CCSA
- Fortinet certifications
- Any other technical certifications will be considered as an advantage
