Odyssey participated as a Gold Sponsor in the InfoCom Security 2024 “The Hybrid World of Cybersecurity,” which was held on April 10th and 11th at the Athens Conservatory, Greece.

The 14th InfoCom Security 2024 conference focused on key aspects of the hybrid world, analyzing trends in security management and offering best practices, integrated solutions, innovative services, and regulatory guidance to bolster organizations’ defenses against evolving threats.

A keynote speech was delivered by Andreas Constantinides, Managed Services Director, emphasizing the importance for businesses to counter cyber threats and showcasing how Managed Services served as external support for infrastructure and security, enhancing efficiency and resilience. His presentation, titled “Anticipating and Planning for Potential Operational Service Disruptions,” explored the evolution of Managed Services, focused on key elements crucial for organizations in anticipating and planning operational disruptions. He emphasized the significance of understanding the past and predicting the future to provide a more targeted and effective response to imminent and potential cyber-threats and how to proactively identify vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses.

During the conference, attendees also had the opportunity to participate in our workshop “How the Dark and Deep Web Put Your Cybersecurity Posture at Risk,” presented by Marios Zoidis from IthacaLabs at Odyssey. We explored advanced surveillance tactics and went beyond the surface, delving deep into the shadows of the Dark Web and social media forums, tracking and uncover malicious activities, and safeguarding against emerging cyber threats.
